It is our duty, as sports coaching professionals, to expose children to as many sports as possible during their vital early years.
In addition to covering four sports (tennis, football, basketball, athletics), the Minisport program also places unrivalled emphasis on key fundamental ball skills that are essential for any sport. Examples of these skills include handling, rolling, throwing, striking, dribbling, catching & many more.
The multiple sport approach is supported by numerous studies at top Universities and leading Athletic Associations have shown that this yields physical and mental benefits that far outweigh that of specialising during the early years.
Engaging in multiple sports through one program has infinite benefits to a child’s sporting and personal development. We love nothing more than watching our students evolve and gravitate towards the sports that excite and stimulate them
Through our small classes, coaches are able to ensure that each child is given the attention that they deserve in order to master basic techniques and understanding of the sports at hand.
Learning when to celebrate and when to congratulate are therefore key learning outcomes of our diverse program.Classes are generally capped at 8 students for Playgroup (1.5-2.5yrs) & Mini-Tots (2.5-3.5yrs) and 10 students for Level 1 (3.5-5yrs) and Level 2 (6-8yrs).
We foster a culture of positivity amongst our coaching team, with each member constantly being reminded of the importance of their role as a coach.
The continual exchange of ideas amongst our team and development of our program is integral to creating the best program that we possibly can to bring the best out of each and every child.
We insist on bright, child specific sports equipment, funactivities and a whole load of encouragement during every eventwe hold, whether it be a weekly sports program, private class, sporty birthday party or a fun-filled public event.
