Do we get allocated the same coach for every class?

At Minisport, we take pride in the continual training and development of our team to deliver the same engaging and developmentally aligned program. Although we highly value the consistency of coaching allocation to classes there are, from time to time, there will be occasions where we are unable to guarantee the same coach each  week. These rare occasions are a result of logistical challenges that we face due to the limited quota of trained Minisport coaches at our disposal.

What happens if there is bad weather I.e rain?

- In the event of Typhoon 3 signal or Red/Black rainstorm signal (unless lowered 2 hours before the session is scheduled to commence), other bad weather situations, the session will be cancelled and the lesson fee credited towards future enrolments for Minisport services (including parties, camps, events or private and public classes), valid for up to one year.

- In the case of a session being rained off after 15 minutes of the session, then the coaches will take the children to shelter and attempt to resume the class when appropriate and no credit will be applied.

- For classes that are rained off within 15 minutes of starting, class will be cancelled and one session’s credit will be awarded. In this case, the coaches will contact the group and guardians must arrive at the venue as soon as they can to collect the children. If this is not possible, then coaches will entertain & look after the children until the initially stated class ending time.

- Refunds will not be granted for any of the circumstances detailed herein, only credit for future enrolments will be offered.

- Communication surrounding these matters will be made via the WhatsApp groups for classes.

What happens in the case of absence due to Illness?

Should a child be unable to attend the classes due to sickness, then a doctor’s note must be presented, upon which credit will be applied for the missed session(s). No student missing a class for any other reason will be eligible for credit.

Is there anything we should bring to classes?

Please bring along a water bottle and activewear

How many kids are in each class?

We follow current grouping restrictions and continue to operate with the 4 child, 1 coach arrangement until the 4 person ruling is relaxed.

We have the utmost respect towards the current grouping restrictions in place and those guidelines are strictly enforced.

In non Covid-19 times we do not take more than 8 children per class
